If i paid XX in 2000 - how much is my house likely to be worth?

does anyone know the rough calculation - the area hasnt changed much..

    see link below. You can input when and how much you paid for your house and it will tell you the present value.

  • thanks - the link was a little off, but i found it - thats great - for an 'outer south east' gone up by 64.37% - i thought it was more, but its a good start.
    (in 2003 not 2006!!!)

    If XX in 2000 then by now it must be worth XX + or - XX-YX2 depending of course on area and relativity to growth.

    It depends on the area, but we've just sold our house (in the process of anyway), and since we bought it in March 2000 its gone up about 115%. Thats without doing anything major to the house.. This is in South West.

    What are you going to do with the money? Unless you're downsizing, your house going up in value is bad news.

    Absolutely.. You'll only see the money the day you die, and then its too late.. Good for your kids though. :)

    Why dont you use http://www.nethouseprices.com to find out the latest prices of houses sold in your street/location and then compare these houses to yours?
