I have stopped reading up about this as some of the things I read are quite worrying, such as the honey seeping through the ceilings etc.!!
I have decided to leave well alone and just see what happens.0 -
Got chased around a campsite in France by two large bumble bees.
Think we inadvertently camped on something of interest to them.
They were less than playful and buzzed us all night.
Luckily we had a ferry to catch the next day."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

Pest controller didn't seem to bothered when he visited. Would have no doubt had them if he could get access.0 -

Yes, I agree.
Everything I have read up on it suggests they can be removed and advises to get experts in to do the job. There is a list of beekeepers who I understand will come and remove them, not sure if they charge or not.0 -
If you use a Beekeeper they will have the same problem, access, never mind the height, what about the fact they are behind a wall?
Let them Bee to Bumble along lol
Wasps definately use the same nest year on year if they live through a winter.
I used to collect their nests for fishing bait, grubs are deadly for fishing, but I always used to leave a large part of the nest and returned to them for many years!
Not sure about Bumble Bee's though?
Honey Bee's obviously do unless they swarm as most Beekeepers should confirm!Signature removed0
