i keep getting telephone calls there is a virus on computor and they can fix it .they want me to log onto my computor and open up some files .What would happen if you followed their instructions. the say the are from windows

total scam, there's plenty of threads on here about it.....don't follow their instructions at all.......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

Basically they remotely connect, disable all the services on your computer so it won't even start then charge you money to "fix" it.0
