Seem to be quite a few repossesions or motivated sellers coming on to the market

I have never attempted to call the start of a property crash, and today is no exception:)
But I quite often use a search criteria on Rightmove, and over the last few weeks I have seen quite a few attractive properities that look like they are up for auction or are having to find a buyer quick.
They usually have a guide price and they have a open day which is within a few weeks. the guide prices I have seen are usually a lot cheaper than similar type properties that have been on sale in recent years.
Today there are five of these properties, whats going on??

What's going on?
People are selling and buying houses, that's what's happening .... pretty normal process.
Except for those who are waiting for a crash that will never come - who have had their lives on hold, paying for someone else's house, waiting ... hoping ... suffering ... getting nowehere at all.
People are selling to move on, people are buying to move on .....Bringing Happiness where there is Gloom!0 -

Actually I was going to ignore this, last thing I want is nutcases from on here(don't take it personally) being able to narrow it down as to where I live, I have already witnessed how far some will go on here.
Do a 10 mile rad of Cambridge, it slightly alters my criteria(little further south) but some should come within that area.
Happy:)0 -

What would a day be like without your venomous bilge to start proceedings

Venemous bilge? Wow.
I mean, really? That was venemous?

I did a search around Kimbolton. Very little evidence of crashing house prices.
I don't actually think there's much evidence of an increase in distressed sellers. With lower transactions the proportion of distressed sellers must be higher assuming that people are dying and getting divorced at similar rates. There's an argument to say that the housing indices over the last couple of years have been skewed by this.0 -

Yet there are the majority still refusing to bring the price down so they sit there overpriced for months or even years on end. The trouble is the owner is a prisoner, they can not afford to lower the price because they owe more.0 -

Just had a look for Saffron Walden as I though we might be overpaying for the house we're completing on next week. Can't find any repos or anything that's looks to be undervalued.
O well, will just have to pay the price we're paying and stop dreaming about getting a bargain.0 -
There is no crash here nothing to see move on folks0
