Tuesday 19th June What small DFW things will you do today ??

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important! :money:
Morning  I'm back after the most lovely holiday! Great times, but feeling very exhausted after the flights and flighting the holiday blues! Will just have to tell myself I love work! :rotfl: Might have to start another wave of "fake it till you make it"! So I'm raring to go, gonna work hard all day to make the day speed by, who is up for it with me??
Things for today:
ok think that's enough for one day. Have a great day y'all

Good morning all!
Thanks to DNMS for starting us off and I'm glad you had a lovely holiday
Today I am going to be good after a seriously expensive (but absolutely wonderful) weekend away with my friends. Chocolate for breakfast, lunch and dinner on Sunday
EDIT: must now find £50 for new speaker part for OH. Grrr.
So today's mission is:
Update spreadsheet for vodafone bill (done)
Check online banking (all stuff from the weekend has come out - good)
Breakfast, lunch and dinner from stores
Send OH to asda with a short shopping list (have totally run out of pasta!)
Charge phone in work (on now...)
Working overtime still (but not as much as in May)
Trying to diet, but actually put on 1.5lb (see previous mention of chocolate?
)
OH currently working for his mum decking the garden and getting £40 a day, so trying to persuade him not to fritter it all away too quickly  (yeah, wish me luck on that!)
Good luck to everyone today

So it turns out the written test that I though was today was actually yesterday, and after completing it I've been short-listed for an interview this afternoon! eek these guys dont mess around. Anyway hopefully will do the phone interview this afternoon, will subtly pop out after lunch.
So, today:
- dont muck up the phone interview!!
- read up on the org a bit before the interview
- bike everywhere I need to go
- bananas for breakfast, lunch provided by work
- drop some airtime by home at lunchtime for OH as he's still poorly
- buy some veg for stir fry tonight - trying out a cheats satay for the first time
- hopefully get the rest of the Wire delivered so I can go back to my normal addicted lifestyle :P
Hope everyone is well!Mortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000
Debt free as of 1 October, 2010

Hello All,
Still massively busy at work this week but on the plus side I have Friday off :j At least being at work means I don't have the temptation to go to the shops and spend money. I was very good at the weekend, tried on a pair of jeans but didn't buy them as I can't afford them. In the past I would have just put them on my credit card and not cared - I'm glad those days are long gone!
Today...
