Can I open a bank account online?

Hi

I would like to know if there are any banks which offer the possibility to open an account completely online. Thank you for your help.

Natwest in England or RBS in Scotland offer this. Although if they can't fully verify your identity online you may be required to visit a branch with ID. I'm sure other banks can offer this so it's best to select the best bank account for you then check the relevant website.

Most of them let you open an account online. As PMDUK says, the only problem will be if they can't verify your identity online.
