freeview box faulty at argos. help

    When it comes to Freeview boxes Humax are good, I've also had good experience with Sagem (which are particularly easy to use). Thomson are a complete joke.

    True that do sell a lot of the cheaper brands, but they sell the big ones too.

    thanks for the replys ill try get a refund. They didnt force me to buy the other one but i needed one that recorded and because of the change of books the cheapest recording freeviewbox went up for 80 to £130.

    we only got it in january so it shouldnt of messed up so early. When we proved the last one was faulty just took it to a local tv electrical company what checked it over for free and wrote a letter stating it was faulty due to no fault of r's

    also it was just past the 12 months only because my partner had a baby who was in special care unit and taking that back was the last thing on my mind at the time.

    Aha! A £130 That'll be a bush or hitachi I wager. The cheapest GOOD recorder they do is a panasonic at £169.

    If you buy the cheapest, especially from argos, you're going to have a bad time.

    all sorted now didnt get nowear with argos lack of customer service skills the managers are awful and rude in the shops.
    so i went to top dog terry duddy emailed him within a few hours a phone call later. we have to send them the freeview box and they will refund all cost plus postage of sending it to them via cheque.
