Waltham Abbey Marriott Parking

Went there today on a recce as I have to visit there in a few weeks with a large parcel ( I don't know that bit of the M25 and wanted to make sure I got to the right place). I pulled into the car park and saw these huge cameras everywhere. I didn't even stop the car, just pulled out of the car park.
Am I going to get one of those Parking Invoice things? If one appears just bin it? I don't fancy paying £4 parking or whatever for a 10 minute delivery to a hotel guest, but don't want to end up spending hundreds on parking fines.
I'm worried about today.

Who knows ? But come back here if you do get anything
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Loads of commuters use the road next to that hotel to park and (I think) share cars - I don't really know, but the carpark cameras are definitely to scare people away from doing the same and parking there.

I've been there for conferences though, and I don't think I gave my registration to reception, so I think you'll be fine.
Can we just take it as read I didn't mean to offend you?

These camera people really know how to scare a daft bird like me! Cannot sleep tonight.
I have just read on TripAdvisor how people have had tickets through the post, but they sound like the ParkingEye stufff.
    Still sick to the stomach,though.

Thank you for the replies. Nice to know kind people are out there at this hour.

You have no worries if it's a private car park manned by scammers like parking cry, you simply ignore them. If its a council you need different advice. But there is no need to upset yourself with this. By the way you probably will get nothing.

Had a bit of an emotional day, then this on top.
If I get nobbled by the council, fair enough. It's the scammers that upset me.

    A nice G&T would be good. Except I don't drink :o
