Hello
I use a Thomson Wireless Router i got from O2 for my wifi connection. However, i want to move the router to another part of the room but the router's power lead is too short.
I don't really want to use a lead extension, so i was ondering is their anywhere that sells mains leads for routers in longer lengths. Or would it be possible to go to an electrical shop & get one made or the existing one lengthend.
Are these maims leads a standard design/fit?
Thanks

Would something like this do the job? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10M-Long-2-1mm-5-5mm-OD-CCTV-Camera-DVR-Power-Extension-Cable-Lead-Chord-DC-12v-/221043370812?pt=UK_CCTV&hash=item3377362b3c
Alternatively Maplins sells female jack sockets, and jacks so you could make one up for yourself
Answer about "standard," no they're not0
