Council issued PCN

Hi guys,
Just had my first PCN - I try really hard to park carefully etc, but it appears the council have decided to implement an evening charge now!
Obviously I'm planning to appeal, especially as I have a picture with evening charges clearly "marked out" with tape on all of the signs (would upload but have not posted enough on forum).
Any advice on what to say?

Show them a photo or scan of the PCN (both sides please) and pics of the signs and lines. You can post your pics straight away when you register and start a new thread there. And they will help you possibly get off the PCN - as most people on there do win in the end.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
