Quiet extractor fan

I have an extractor fan in the bathroom that sounds like an aeroplane. I've searched online for quiet ones but some call them "silent" but don't have the decibel rating. The lowest db I've seen is 26.5. Anyone know of good, quiet extractor fans for small internal (no window) bathroom?
thanks

You could try an inline fan where the moving part is not in the room?

25.5db is very quiet - 30db is a quiet whisper.

The vent axia solo range are designed to e very quiet. Or put in an in line fan as suggested above and then you don't hear the fan at all.

An axial fan (inline) is what you need. Any fan mounted in the ceiling will use the boarding as a sound board and effectively amplify the sound.

Buy a RUCK inline fan (swiss made and as relaible as a swiss watch) for about £70 install it using existing cable into the existing flexible duct. DO NOT screw it down but instead lay it on a 'pillow' of insulation away from any timbers. It will be as quiet as a mouse!

In the room put in a grill where the fan was originally and you'll be sorted for a good few years. remember to clean it out once a year to keep it efficient and quiet.

In line fan is best, but if you can't fit an in line fan as you don't have space above the ceiling, then I've found these very quiet
