Are non logo jumpers OK for school as spares?

My DD is starting school in September. I am trying to get her school uniform sorted now as I will be having an op at around the same time.
I have read the school prospectus and it states something around the lines of school uniform cannot be insisted upon, but children cannot wear jeans or high heels to school.
It then states the school uniform; Jumper with the school logo on, polo shirt, trousers etc.
I have bought a few jumpers with the school logo on, but I've also bought a couple of M&S non-logo jumpers and cardigan. I am now not sure whether to keep them or not. I'd like to keep them as it will help us in the early days when I am in hospital/ recovering and my husband will have to do the washing etc.
How strict are schools on this sort of thing?

It should be fine. At primary level uniform is voluntary anyway, in a state- funded school, and as you've got some logoed ones and these are spare I really don't think anyone will complain! They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.

It certainly wouldn't be a problem at my children's primary school, although pretty much everyone wears the logo'd ones.0

I would maybe ask the school how strict they are on uniform as it can vary from school to school
You should be ok but the school would be able to answer more acuurately than we can.0 -
Thanks - she is going in for a taster day in a couple of weeks. I may check out what all the other kids are wearing and if I can't see many plain jumpers I'll take the plain ones back and get a couple more jumpers with a logo on.0

My kids have both logo'd jumpers and plain ones, this is for Grammar school and primary school. It's so expensive to buy the logo'd ones. It's nice to have the logo for school day trips/photo's etc but certainly nothing wrong with a few spare plain ones.0

I've never done it, but that's probably because DD/DS's jumpers are pale (sky?) blue and you can't seem to get plain ones of those anywhere. But I wouldn't have thought it would be an issue, particularly if they've pointed out that uniform isn't compulsory.
Just by way of a moan actually, pale blue is possibly one of the worst school uniform colours ever. Shows every stain, and are not the most practical colour to put six year old boys in! My son goes to school in some seriously minging jumpers, I'm ashamed to say. They are clean dirty iykwim, but decidedly grubby looking. Teamed with some grey school shorts, it very much adds to his urchin look

JxAnd it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end0 -

This is spot on, no primary school can lay down the law on uniform, although they think they are above it,
Senior school is compulsory, primary no0
