hi all - is it normal for builders to put up their sign that they are working at your premises without permission - and for them to screw their sign into our front wall? thanks

It's quite common for builders to put up a sign. Screwing it into the wall though is a bit excessive.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

I always have an A-Board outside where i am working but certainly wouldnt dream of screwing something to a customers wall, bit much really.:: No Unapproved or advertising links in signatures please - FM ::0

Look at it positively, would they want the world to see them make a bad job and advertise the fact !! In all fairness, out of courtesy they should have asked you first, but as long as they have screwed into the mortar rather than the brick, there's no harm done. Just mention over a cup of tea would they rubbing some mortar in the holes when they take the sign down. Its not worth you losing sleep and risk alienating your builders over something that really isn't that important.0
