Hi
Just going through the letters to send to creditors and have done most of them but just wanted to be sure on something.
1) As EGG credit cards are taken over by Barclays do I wriite to Clydesdale Finanacial Services?
2) I had Barclaycard which seems to have been bought by TTI SPC I will write to the DCA but do I need to write to Barclaycard as well, the Barclaycard default date is after BR date.
3) The Capital One account has the correct default date but there is still a current balance, does that still need updating?
4) It looks like the wonga loan that was included in BR is not showing on my reports, even though previous wonga loans have. Is that anything to worry about?
Thanks

1) Previous thread here seemed to indicate that the Clydesdale address isn't right for Barclaycard cards. There is a more general DPA address somewhere.
2) Write to whoever the CRA record names as the current creditor. No need to do both.
3) Should really be marked as settled, but not as completely critical as having the default date correct.
4) Not really. They are a bit errtic about reporting, and/or maybe it has been sold on. Just keep an eye on your reports so you know if it does suddenly pop up.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Thanks fermi
Just to confirm on number 2, there is an entry for Barclaycard with a default date 24/10/11 and current balance is satisfied
Then there is also an entry for TTISPC with a default 24/10/11 but there is a balance.
So wouldn't I have to ask Barclaycard to correct the default date as well so that it falls of at the right time, or will Ttispc update both records?BSC Member 3510 -
Barclaycard should have taken theirs off when the debt was sold on. So they need to take that off, or amend the date. Duplicate is technically wrong, but not a big deal if defaults dates are correct.
So request to TTISPC to mark as settled and corrct the date, plus separate request to Sharkelycard to remove or amend the date on theirs.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
