Credit file clean up-Barclaycard

Been discharged 3 years-managed to get credit ref file fairly tidy.

Only exception is barclaycard where discharge date remains incorrect and they are not showing it as satisfied or part sat.

have written before-but think its falling on deaf ears or i am communicationg to wrong address.

Have tried to research myself for correct address-shows as barclaycard loans at clydesdale bank.
have a feeling that may be wrong.

Can anyone kindly advise the specific and correct address for the data controller for BARCLAYCARD.

(anyone else had similar difficulties with barclaycard on this matter )

Maybe i was just doubting the info;as it seems a bit odd sending Barclaycard stuff to cldesdale bank ,and on the gov info site-it says clydesdale is for barclarycard loans-not credit card,and had a few doubts about accuracy of the info.

i'll send it there though just the same

I have a feeling that is the case now, as CFS has been re-branded as Barclays Partner Finance and doesn't do the "cards".

The address here might be more appropriate for current DPA issues?

I have recently sent 6 clean up letters, 5 at the beginning of September and I received a response for 4 of them.

I didn't receive a response from Egg. I actually think I sent it to Citigroup for some reason, I don't remember why?!!

So, should it actually go to Clysedale now?

At one point I think Egg was sold to Citigroup, so that is probably why.

Well, on your credit report who is it listed as?

No matter who to or when it was sold, the company it is listed under on your report is the one that is responsible for changing the record. Assuming they still exist.

Its down as Egg Banking PLC. I can see they have been with CitiGroup or Barclaycard (if it was closed after 2011 sometime).

The account was defaulted in 2007.

It does seem to me that they are now Canada Square Operations? But they seem to deal with PPI claims for "old egg loans/cards" and not sure if they have a concept of a Data Controller?
