Can I use my credit card as a debit card (e.g. cash withdrawal, transfer money to overseas) if I overpay before?

My lloyds tsb credit card limit is £xxxx. So if I pay £500 before any transaction will it charge if I withdraw £500 from cash machine or send that money overseas.

Thanks a lot in advance.

My understanding is, regardless of overpayment, if you take money out via ATM, you pay the price :(
    Life is now good :)

And you're not technically allowed to overpay anyway.

Overpaying puts your account in credit, which is typically forbidden by your terms and conditions. The card issuer may bounce the payment and any cash advance will still be treated as such and notified on your credit report. It may also harm future credit applications.
