It seems that rewards have now been cancelled entirely. Once again I received no email and only found out via the MSE forum.
How can it still be called a Spend & Earn card when there no longer the opportunity to earn anything?

Beware when any company says 'SIMPLIFYING'. It will always mean a change to your detriment/price rise and they are trying to hide the actual change in small print.
My local train company said 'Simplifying' about changes to their fares the other year. It was in fact a 40% price increase.
They must think we're 'simple' - although in a lot of cases they are probably right.....0
