Ok so we lodged a dispute and our LL has now sent us a copy of the Check Out Inspection. He wants to make £800 worth of deductions!!!!

    4 points

The Check out inspection wasn't done alongside the dual signed Inventory.
Despite 8 written requests we weren't informed of when the Check out inspection was taking place so we couldn't attend.
The Check out Inspection is completely wrong!
The letter from our LL outlining all the issues and how much he is going to deduct refer to issues that were not even mention in the Check out Report.

His is strongly advising us to drop the dispute.

    Our thinking is no way!

Really angry as its taken him 4 weeks to send us the Check out report.

Oh and to top it all off my car was keyed last night! Nothing to do with our deposite but just wanted a rant!

    Ok I need some advice.

LL has turned nasty and stating if we continue to proceed with our deposite dispute through My Deposits we will have to pay him the fees incurred for his LA to prepare his evidence for the dispute! We've sent a letter to him saying we will not and are not responsible for these fees but he really is trying it on!

    Can he do that?
