£6.80 on a big bowl of chilli beans with a lump of french bread and enormous pile of salad - enough to feed a family of four and which I managed all by myself, plus £1.50 on a coffee. Was out to lunch with my mother as I won't see her on Sunday.

30p in the Comic Relief bucket for the girl who was coming through the office wearing a wet suit, mask, snorkel and flippers.

That's a grand total of £8.60, but I got £4.00 in Luncheon Vouchers through the post from Pinecone Research for an online survey, and £230.89 from cashing in my ISA.

So I have ended the day with £226.29 more than I started! :T
  • Am updating today's thread before I forget!!

£8.00 on lunch at the local 'stuff yourself silly' Chinese buffet inc a refillable coke that is £1.80.

£1.20 at the vending machine. I got a cereal bar first thing, then I had a chocolate urge so got a packet of crisps and a Yorkie but the Yorkie didn't come out, it was teetering on the brink, so I paid for another Yorkie which pulled the other one out which is why I spent so much.

£6.00 transferred to DH's bank account because he sent DS1 to school with £3 for Red Nose Day Activities, and then £3 for football practice.

    Grand Total: £15.20
    Start Date: 27/11/2010
    Padding: Day 42
    Target £8000
    Amount: £562.23

    Evening!

    Today I've spent:

£41 in Asda, but budgetted for (food shopping) - should have been £51 but had some vouchers

£5 on various red nose day related things - DS's non-uniform day, pay to park at work, raffle, etc etc.

£1.92 on a book of stamps - needed to post mothers day card

So not great but not TOO bad today!
