It seems the only case you might have is the damage that wasn't detailed in the advertisement - however that came about.
Have you considered speaking to your bank and cancelling the cheque - it has been cashed but sometimes they can still retreive the money - at worst you can then return the table?Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.0 -

You can't cancel a cheque once it has been cleared.
As for the damage- that's what the whole thread is about, but unfortunately the OP used their own courier so has no way of knowing whether the seller sold it damaged or the courier themselves damaged it.

To be honest,I am not sure who's fault it is.I have sent letetr warning about opening court case but the seller hasnt responded to that either and its been a month,so now I'm thinking I should go ahead and try my luck to see if I can get anything back.
I wish I could have cancelled the cheque but as its been cleared I cant do anything.
Any idea how much will it cost to file a court case??0 -

You need form EX50

It varies depending on the size of the claim.0 -
