Tesco Visa online payments

If you make online banking payments to Tesco Visa, check your details as Tesco have recently changed their system and didn't think it necessary to tell anyone.
I have just been on the phone to them because my card was declined on Saturday. They said it was declined because there wasn't enough credit left. We keep a small credit limit (to protect ourselves) and pay it off in full every week.
The online payment details which had worked properly for the last couple of years have stopped working since Tesco made changes in May without telling us. This means 5 payments totalling several hundred pounds have left our bank account and disappeared in the Tesco Visa ether.
They will now investigate and "may repay the interest as a result of their error" - you bet your life they will!

Oh good grief so thats why our payment was sent back to the bank without a word to us resulting in a late payment fine interest and a headache.
