Leeting Agent fee

Hi,

I have been letting my properly for about 5 years, same tenant from day one. For all this time I have been paying the agent 5% of the monthly rent for finding the tenant. Do I have to go on paying this forever?

I can't find my original contract to check the details.

    Nobody will be able to answer this. We can't see the details in your contract any more than you currently can.

    Ask your LA for a copy of the contract you signed with them.

    OP - as Yorkie1 says, you will need to have sight of your original contract with the LA.
