Lllyods/Tsb loan change

We claimed for mis-sold ppi and won and got a lovely cheque, I also went onto internet banking and noticed that one day the outstanding loan amount was X but 2 days later the amount was reduced by £2700. We have had no letter, do they normally write to you? do we still have to pay the same amount each month or over less time now? has anyone else had this happen and how did it all work out.

I expect a letter about your existing loan being re-worked without PPI is already on it's way to you.
If not, give them a ring and request one.

I popped in the bank and they say that the amount i pay each month should stay the same and it would get paid off quicker, unless we want to go in and redo the loan but we are happy with paying the amount a month and will be nice to get it cleared sooner.
