If the second one is an Ash it will have black bud tips/ ends to the twigs. Astilbe is a good shout for the first one, initially I thought it was 'rhus' or what ever that furry barked flame tree shrub thing is.
Think I'll stick to veg. :rotfl:

I would say the second plant is the weed "ground elder".0
