Coop cash machine - forgot to take cash

As it says in the title I forgot to take my cash from the machine this morning.
I fully expected it to have been taken by the next user, however have been told it may have been drawn back in by the machine if left too long (my Lloyds branch and the Coop store told me this).
It is a Coop Link machine does anyone know how I make contact to say if when the machine is balanced if it is over then the amount may be mine?
Thanks

IF the machine has taken the cash back in then the software should reverse the transaction automatically.Ethical moneysaver0

If it doesn't go back in automatically then you need to report it to your bank and they will check with the machine owning bank.
If, when balanced, the machine is over then you will get the funds back. If it isn't over then unfortunately someone else took it.0 -
Madgagoo is exactly right.
Was there a queue of people behind you? If not then there's a pretty good chance that the ATM will have retracted the money, it doesn't leave it in the slot for very long. Depending on how good the Co-op and Lloyds systems are the reversal may happen shortly after the transaction took place, overnight the same or the next day, or if it has to wait for a manual balance it could be a week to 10 days later.0 -
thanks for the afvice. I have been into my bank and they have completed a form to query it with the ATM bank.
It would be nice to get it back, otherwise I hope it went to someone who needed it.0 -
