Need a make up overhaul
Comments
-
Hi folks looking for some advice re my make up bag, feel as if I need a total overhaul on my make up regime and had a few questions and wanted to see other peoples opinions.
1. Do you put mascara on your bottom lashes, I feel when I do this my undereye looks "dirty"
I find that blinking fairly hard when I put mascara on my top lashes usually provides sufficient coverage for the bottom ones. I don't blink (any harder than usual, anyway!) if I'm adding a second coat. I have naturally dark lashes - if yours are lighter, you might find the 'blinking hard' method a bit lacking
2. Do you put eyeliner on your bottom lid
I do, but only on the outer half/third of the lid, beneath the waterline. If I go right along to the inner corner, it just makes my eyes look small and like they've been stuck on my face too close to my nose.
3. Can anyone recommend a good product for covering a red complexion
I've recently started wearing JML Magic Minerals, which is said to help cover a multitude of sins from under-eye circles to thread veins. I didn't really expect too much from it to be honest, but it feels really good on my face. I thought that I was imagining how much more even it makes my skin tone look, until my mum commented favourably on it yesterday with no prompting whatsoever. I think it would be quite drying if used on bare skin as they suggest (I have dry skin anyway), but I am wearing it over the Nivea Q10 tinted moisturiser that I usually use instead of foundation and have had no problems.
4. Whats the best foundation for dry skin but still gives a good coverage
I gave up wearing ordinary foundation when it took up the practice of trying to find every wrinkle on my face and settle into them, but the above combination of Nivea Q10 tinted moisturiser and JML Magic Minerals is working well for me.
Thanks in advance
Hope that helps
