Post Office interest charged on purchases but no purchase made?

Hello
I have recently used my Post Office credit card to make a 0% balance transfer. There was a £44.70 fee for this which I paid the same day as it showed on my statement (14 days after the balance transfer had gone through).
I have made a few more payments since then, all above the minimum monthly payment. However, I have received a statement today showing that I have interest of 31p (interest charged on purchases @ 1.313% per month).
Now I know it's only 31p, so I'm not going to worry too much about it, but I am wondering if anyone knows why this fee may have appeared? If it happens again next month I will give PO a call, but for now I am just curious....its 31 1p sweets after all :rotfl:
Thanks

Probably interest on the Balance Transfer fee. I know the RBS Group cards do this and suspect Post Office do as well.
Basically the Balance Transfer fee is not included in the 0% deal. Because of the order of payments, you should not incur any more.0 -
Thanks NickX, that makes sense.0
