At my wits end now with Santander

I paid a cheque into my Santander account 2 weeks ago, at a local branch and it still hasn't cleared!! It took 2 days for it to show as "paid in". I'd make a formal complaint that the bank haven't used the 246 rules for cheque clearance. You might want to double check the terms and conditions of your account and use these as evidence. (But ensure to allow 2 extra days for the public holidays on 4 and 5 June.)
