Do Halifax send an acknowledgement of your claim

I sent off my claim form 6 weeks ago but have never received an acknowledgement that they have received it. Just wondering if this was normal for them or should I phone them up to check it has been received?

i done my halifax claim over the phone had letter with ref number after a week and response and offer after 6 weeks cheque few days later

the other claim i never got a response/offer letter just a cheque

id phone them ask how the claim is going you might get the person i spoke to called !!!!!! he didnt seem impressed when i started laughing 08456014034

I assume it was a call centre in the phillipnes with that name :rotfl:

to OP as Xyellowx stated phone them, i sent mine recorded delivery 2 weeks ago and got a acknowlegement letter a week later. always best to send RD

Thanks for the quick replies - I have phoned them and it has been received and is under investigation. Apparently the acknowledgement letter with my reference number must have gone astray so they are sending out a copy. Thanks again.
