Gutter cleaning

Options
cleaning gutters, at least wot i have done, the bad ones, usually you scrap leaves and wotever out of the gutters and following use the blower to clean the rest out. It leaves the rubbish below, of which you have to clean-up.
Is it better to use the ladder and a bucket?

Aren't the leaves a bit soggy what with all this rain we've been having recently?

If not, why don't you just vacuum them out instead?

Just use a small brush move it along a bit move ladder and so on until you get to end and put debris into a carry bag with hands where gloves if you want too. Surely best time to do this is end if Autumn

I can think of many H & S implications involved with using a leaf-blower whilst standing on a ladder.

TBH I am surprised that no-one has invented a pole-device with a scoop on the end to clean the gutters from the ground.

    Did you follow pglic1's suggestion?

If so, I would be keen to know how you got on. :)

This looks like a good solution: http://www.cambridge-gutter-cleaning.co.uk/
