Cheap airport transfers?

Hi guys!

I'm flying from Heathrow in Sept & want to get a good deal on a transfer from/to Hereford as we both have smart cars which probably won't fit our luggage in! Plus, parking is about £100 as far as I can see.

National Express doesn't look much cheaper & neither does the train.

Do you guys have an ideas/tips?

Any good lift share websites?

Is there a sticky I may have missed?

We usually rent cars, still not particularly cheap but usually convenient (we live in town and rental office isn't far) and is worry free. Europcar or Alamo/National usually work out cheapest for us for a 24hr one-way rental, but you can also check Enterprise (have to ring the local office for a quote as you can't get one way quotes on their website), Hertz and Avis.
