hello
I've won a raffle/draw prize:D:D
It's a teeth whitening session at a dentist in Steel City and worth about £80.
I don't think I could bear someone faffing about in my mouth with that stuff though (I have an over-sensitive gag reflex. Note to self - flip comments about such a thing when the hygenist moans about your over-sensitive gag reflex are inappropriate) so DD can have pearly whites for her prom:T
Flying tonight might be ironing ...
re the paperwork
I keep the shredder by the computer and that is by the door.
Paperwork has to be SERIOUS to get past that lot!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Thanks for the new list JulieJim.
I'm in this week, we are now counting down to DS1's 18th. We are away for a long weekend in 11 days time and there is alot to do to get the house respectable enough for the extended family to descend. The new garden furniture arrives tomorrow morning and the oldest boys have cleared space in the garage for it to be stored until we can assemble it.
I got a ticking off at work today for a messed up purchase order but I fought my corner and won. Only problem being their solution to my answer was to ask me to work longer hours and an extra day. That would mean a 5 day week. I just have to much to do not to have a day to myself. On one hand I really need extra money as 18th birthday parties are expensive!
Macpep - sorry about your pusscat. Family pets departing this life leave big gaps.
Oven timer is going off so I'd better dish up for the [STRIKE]famished beasts[/STRIKE] children.0 -
Mumto5 - it's great that they recognise you need more time and value you enough to pay your for the extra time! Difficult decision...0

Hello everyone
I'm back in again this week. Been at work since 7.30am this morning so apart from cooking dinner, puting another load of washing on and posting something I sold on ebay, I haven't really done anything else yet (and i'm already exhausted).
Froddington - are you another teacher? I still haven't started my reports
Ammonite - I too have a folder. Infact, I have 3 - 1 for me, for OH, and 1 for joint/ household stuff. I then have a pretty box from paperchase to throw in all the stuff that comes, and hope to get round to sorting it out!

Have done living room now, took me ages! Spent half an hour in room of doom amazing the difference this has made already, found fourteen pounds in jeans pockets and on floor DS obviously has no clue its there so finders keepers! Having a rest before doing the stairs.
Personally i'd claim that as cleaners rate of pay.
Sorry to hear about the puddy cat going over rainbow bridge, im sure theres lots of mice catnip and warm snuggly places to curl up.
Oh and i guess i'm in again this week :rotfl:will the cleaning ever learn to do it self.
