*Sticks head round door to reassure Flyfriends the Wolf is still alive*

Mr LW had yesterday off as annual leave, and bless him, he helped me dust the whole bungalow!:A Now, before you read the next bit, please sit down; I don't want anyone fainting in sheer amazement...... I cleaned the outsides of the patio doors! They've come up lovely with white vinegar!

We also did a spot of gardening out the front (half a wheelie-bin full of vetch, bindweed and other assorted green detritus) - I still have to work out some sort of strategy for being out there alone, and have come up blank thus far; but if I can keep the back reasonable, Mr LW says he'll come out with me to do the front, whenever he's around and the weather permits.:A

Shame I can't do more than 15 minutes or so at a stretch, but it's better than nothing, hey?:o

Welcome to our new Fliers:wave: - I'm one of the ones who do their own lists (I find it easier to have the same room on the same day each week, iyswim) but I still find the friendship and encouragement here invaluable, even though I'm not doing the "official" lists.:o

I must admit, Flying has gone more than a little to pot this week, but hopefully I'll be a bit better on track next week. All donations of spare spoons gratefully received. *Holds out begging bowl*.:D

Hi, I am new to this and would like to get started. Just wondering if bathrooms are only listed once a week? And are chores like ironing included?

Any advice and tips would be appreciated!
    Thanks :o
Welcome Jewwels, A few things I do -

Whilst kids are having their 30 minute computer time, this is when I do an Half Hour Ironing, whilst watching Hollyoaks (almost every night to keep on top of it).
When I sit down at night to watch telly, during any ad breaks, I will jump up & give something a dust or a polish or a fold/tidy/put away, something that only takes a few minutes but it is not long in adding up.
Half Hour Challenge - Join in if you can, its truly amazing how much you can achieve running about like a tazmanian devil :rotfl:. My OH used to say, "You are not right, do you seriously believe all the other ladies on Flylady are running about cleaning" :D If they are good flyladies they are:D
Ohhhh......and when hanging out washing you must have MATCHING PEGS :rotfl::rotfl:(although FFP will disagree :rotfl:)

It does get easier each week, believe me, when I first started, decluttering was the main thing & not stepping over something that could be takn up/downstairs or into a room if you were passing on the way. as Valli will say, don't put it down, put it away !!

    Good Luck x

she has just gone in this morning.. that baby is going to end up being dragged out.. 4cm dilated but waters still intact, I think it will be very quick once they break them..

She is scared and emotional and tired and her OH has been awake 16 hours on 2 hours sleep.. he works nights so got in at 8 and went straight out with DD to MW.. I msaid I'd go sit with her while he gets some sleep, they only live 5 minutes walk from hospital so he could run it in 2 if he had to.

Poor DD! I was 3cm at 4am and 3cm at lunchtime with DD1 - then it all went pearshaped.....

Hope it all goes well for her!

Couple of emails next and a couple of PMs and then hopefully DS2 will be home as we really could do with nipping to get him new smart shoes but that may have to be a 9 am job at this rate.

    afternoon all
sorry only just put puter on as gave mils bathroom its 2nd coat this morning then had work. DS drama piece last night was rather thought provoking, 5 students performed in it four had recently passed on and were in a 'waiting rom' overseen by my DS they had to pick their best memory from their lives that would then play on a loop for them for all eternity it was rather sad and angry in places, one couldnt pick before the time ran out so he ended up in the same position as my DS character and forgetting everything about his life and was forever doomed to help others pick their best memories. my kids were deciding what moment they would choose on the way home and i told them if they already had their best moments at the ages of 12 17 19 and 22 i was incredibly sad for them. what a strange subject for teenagers to perform for an exam piece
