Hi
Could anyone give me advice on what has happened?

All of a sudden when I open a saved PDF file I get this pop-up below...

........................................................................................................

Runtime Error

Program C:/Program Files/Internet Explorer/iexplore.exe

This application has requested the runtime to terminate itin an

unusual way
Please contact the application’s support teamfor more information

....................................................................................................................

The page is frozen, and I can't print or do anything else.

I am not techie minded so don't have a clue what to do.

Thanks

Go into Windows Explorer, navigate to where your pdf is. Instead of opening it by double clicking with the left mouse button, click once with the right mouse button and select the "open with" option. Select "choose program" then select Acrobat Reader (or whatever you normally use to open pdfs) and ensure "all use the selected program" is ticked.

Alternatively uninstal your pdf software and reinstall it and let the reinstall sort it out

    Have you got google toolbar?

This is an alternative to Adobe Reader

Can you download and print a PDF using Palemoon

    Thanks for replies.

I have gone into programs to uninstal the pdf software and reinstall it and let the reinstall sort it out as advised by alanrowell but really don't know which program to uninstall ( what am I looking for?).

I can open any already saved pdf's, they are working fine, it's only the new pdf's which I open that are frozen with the pop-up below ...

    Program C:/Program Files/Internet Explorer/iexplore.exe

    Thanks, any help appreciated

    adobe acrobat reader

You could just disable the acrobat addon in IE, or try foxit instead, it's lighter.

The add-on in Internet Explorer is causing this issue.
