RBS 18months 0% T&Cs = Confused!

Options
Hi, am wanting to purchase a new car via 0% credit card and RBS yourpoints one seems to have a good long int free period BUT it states the following RE repaying :-

"If you pay your balance (and your previous month's balance) in full and on time each month, you'll enjoy up to 56 days' interest free credit on all purchases once the 0% introductory interest rate has ended."

Doesn't mean i have to repay the full balance after month one does it?

It means that if you don't pay the full balance each month after the 0% offer has ended then yes you will pay interest on the remaining balance at the variable rate set in your agreement.

once the 0% introductory interest rate has ended.

Only after the 0% introductory interest rate has ended, otherwise you will incur interest at the regular APR.

If you don't pay your bill in full each month you'll be charged interest.
Fortunately the interest rate which you'll be charged during the first 18 months is 0%. :D
  • Thanks everyone :j
  • Is the 0% rate for purchases as well as balance transfers? Some cards offer shorter 0% rates for purchases (or none at all). Make sure that the purchase rate is 0% for 18 months too.
