    That works out at £69.41. There's possibly some discount to be applied and then VAT added, but what's the problem?
    Must be an Economy 7 meter and you've used about 31% of your electricity at the night rate.

    Thanks so much for replying Victor2, especially after I made such a mess of the facts and scared myself witless. Yes it is economy 7, BUT the thing is since we moved in here none of the heaters work, they are only able to blow air at day rate, hmmmmm, thinking I should go on normal electric at one flat rate......

    Is their an off peak circuit in your fuse box and a connecting tail running from it to the meter? If not, it sounds like its been wired away from E7 which is the norm when installing GCH.

    To determine whether you need normal you need to enter you kwh a 1 value into a comparison site to see if standard works out cheaper.

    Its likely E7 is best though if you use 31% at night. You must be using a lot in the off peak time though to get to 31% if no heating is connected to the off peak circuit.
    :rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:
  • Thanks Terrylw1, yes I tend to do washing and drying at night, when it's cheaper. there is no gas here, just electric.
