Hi I have won a ppi reclaim from my bank through a ppi reclaim company and have paid them the 30% agreed.
Can I claim the 30% I have paid back from my bank.

Yes of course you can. Send a SAE with a short note to the MD of the bank and you'll get it back by return of post. The MD will be really pleased to compensate you for agreeing to pay a claims company to get the money back which you could quite easily have done yourself by spending 5 minutes researching the issue and copying a letter from this website.0

OP, no you can't. You agreed to pay this company so it is only you who has to pay it.
Why anyone would want to spend/waste time typing such sarcastic vitriol as in post 2 is beyond me.

No.
Your claims company should have told you at the start that the process is free of charge if you do it yourself. Financial services firms pay levies each year (whether they have complaints or not) to fund the service to allow it to be free of charge to consumer. If you then choose to pay someone to put a stamp on an envelope for you then that is your choice.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). I must admit I was surprised to see this question. i haven't posted sarcastically, but the OP has really fallen into the CMC "trap" if he signed the contract thinking the Bank would pay the 30% fee.Why anyone would want to spend/waste time typing such sarcastic vitriol as in post 2 is beyond me.0 -
I agree with you that I was surprised to see the question but
cant say any more than that without being unkind to the OP if you see what I mean.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

I don't know.
It does appear to be the user's first post. But it also says "MSE requests you give new posters a chance. Please be especially nice'
If you think there is cause to complain, why not report the post to the MSE forum team and see what they think?0
