Dummy, even if you don't want your child to have one, they're golden, helps allow the baby to equalise the pressure changes without screaming the walls down and a 6 weeks the little mite will be very sensitive.
Also a dummy will buy a few minutes when junior decides he/ she wants attention without disturbing the neighbours too much.
A) not all babies will take a dummy (my LO wouldn't) and
a liitle finger or mum's nipple will do the same thing.
I took my son on an 8 hour flight when he was 8.5 weeks old and it was fine. But a 4 week old on a 24 hour flight? You're insane.Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.
Faith is the denial of observation, so that belief can be preserved.

That happened to me with my first baby, it happened 2 weeks after he was born. I was in hospital for a week.
With regards to a dummy, my daughter would not have a dummy, no way, no matter how many times i stuck it in, it was spat out sharpish !
We had to give my sons dummy to Santa when he was 4 ! Starting school with a dummy, not a good idea ! Just shows how unpredictable the little blighters are !0
