No, I'm not in network marketing myself.
    :)

So you just come here, plucked the subject out of the air, and thought it would be a good subject to discuss.!!! having no interest in the subject.
  • I have been personally affected, negatively, by someone else's involvement, I am trying to understand whether the life they say you can achieve is actually realistically achievable and how, otherwise my situation will all have been in vain. I am not trying to cause trouble, I'm trying to make sense of my current situation where that dream future has been prioritized before the present.

    Thanks.

I have personally met people who earn six figure incomes (my boss for one) through network marketing and also people who are struggling.

What's the difference. I can't tell you. People who you think will
    succeed don't and vice versa.

    :)

You have to put hard work in to succeed, some people think customers will just come to them and the money will roll in! Those people will fail. If you work hard, promote, get out there and spread the word, eventually it will pay off. I'm in MLM and love it!

Do you not think it's possible for someone to develop an interest, or just want to know more about something, then seek people who might know about it and ask them?

Where do you get that from? Have you not read the OP's first post?

I'll quote some of it for you, just to refresh your memory.

"I'm really interested to hear from people who have succeeded with an MLM/Network Marketing business."

" I'd just be really interested to know if anyone actually has an income from one of these companies (I don't need to know which company"

"I'd like to understand more about how realistic it is to earn a residual income from these companies "

How can you interpret that as having no interest in the subject?

One. If you try doing more than just the one, your efforts will be seriously diluted. To really succeed, one needs laser like focus and put in the work required. I do know one person who made a success of one MLM over the course of five years and then let that one cruise while he started with another company and concentrated on the new one. He made a go of that too, but, just went back to the first one after a couple of years as the second company was not a really good fit for the way he likes to work.

Hey grapefruit, just out of interest, how long has your boss been in network marketing to earn a 6 figure income and how did they achieve it? Is it just from one business?

The difference is your boss is top of the pyramid and most of the ordinary folk at the bottom.
    Thats what MLM is.
    A giant pyramid of people.
    Winners 99% at the top

Richard Branson is at the top of his "pyramid". The Chief Executive of Marks & Spencer is at the top of his "pyramid". Every organisation with a sales force in the world is of a "pyramid" shape.

I'm involved with an MLM company. I am in someone's "pyramid". I am, in fact, in lots of people's "pyramid". I am also at the top of my own "pyramid" with many other "pyramids" below me.

So, if the winners are the people at the top of the pyramid, then everyone has the potential to be a winner, because they are all at the top of their pyramids.
