Hotmail account problem

Hi,
My hotmail account has been blocked due to a virus sending emails on my behalf. Therefore windows have blocked my account because of the virus. So i go through the process of windows trying to unblock my account by sending a 'code' to an email address i have never heard of?
I am at a loss as what to do? They keep asking me to receive a code from a hotmail account i dont have and there seems to be no other way for me to re-access my account?
Can anyone help me?
