Hi, I was just wondering if any of you kind and knowledgeable people could advise me on some PPI's
I currently have a Halifax credit card acc which originally had PPI on it. We stopped paying this a few years back, and was wondering what the best way might be, to reclaim the money that we had paid out.
Secondly, we have had loans with Egg and Capitol 1 in the past. These have now finished but I have not got any of the paperwork except for the acc numbers. Again, what would be the best course of action on these. I am sure that PPI was included on these as well. Would it be best to do the SAR route and enclose a chq or not. Any advise what so ever will be greatly appreciated.

If any of these were closed in the past 6 years get a copy of your Credit Report, this should show the credit you have with the last 4 digits of the account number, if you cannot find these, then put a Sar request to each bank, give as much info as you can regarding yourself to help them find you , ask for all financial info they hold on you and enclose £10 per bank not each individual credit agreement.

Some times you can contact the bank and ask if they can find you, if you have local branches near you then pop in.
Check your DD list at your bank, if they still have this info then the account number will be there.0 -

Hi and thanks for the reply. The Egg and Capitol 1 expired more than 6yrs ago, but as I said, I do have the acc numbers but nothing else. The Halifax is current and ongoing. Do these companys have dedicated lines to deal with PPI claims?Nice to save.0
