Parking eye - lincoln

I know this thread is a repeat BUT warning to anyone visiting Valentine shopping centre in Lincoln.
Spent just over 3 hours in the car park, visited Asda, Next and TK Max, spent loads of money, had lunch and yes today I get an £80 fine. YES I know not to pay it but I have complained to the managers of the above shops who although pleasant said they cannot stop their landlord employing these cowboys.
If we all boycotted retailers who use these car parking sharks then maybe in this time of recession they may show more concern for their customers.
TQ Max did suggest I return to Lincoln show them my receipts and then they would phone Parking Eye to try and get the ticket revoked. How kind.
I am now not going to shop in any shop that tells me that I should spend my money within their time frame. Lets start a parking revolution and yes I am a granny.

Pesky people spending money in the range of shops available, what do you think you are, shoppers?

Free car-park I assume so the loss is zero.

I have a better idea, wrap up everything you bought and take it all back demanding a refund.
Tell them you need the money to pay the parking fine.
Of course you dont, but this is the only language these people understand.
The point might get across then when they have to open the till and dole out.

I am a great believer in the principle of boycotts. I am sure that we could change many things by the use of a boycott. Unfortunately there does not seem to be much appetite for them. People seem to prefer to pay rip-off prices.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

How did you know there's also a Range there? It only opened last year. :p
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.
  • Legally, does their invoice have any substance in law, should you ignore, or wait until they take you to court and get judgement:surely, they can only employ debt collectors if they have judgement
  • See the threads at the top of the page. DO NOT IGNORE. Appeal using the information above for a guaranteed win at POPLA which costs them money.

Go to page one of this forum because this thread is ANCIENT and we no advise ignoring, what on earth made you bother to read a thread from 18 months ago when the forum itself is always one click away? See my signature for where to click, then read the sticky threads at the top like the 'newbies read this first' explanatory thread.

Of course they can use debt collectors who are only pen-pushers, not bailiffs! Huuuuge difference! But get off this old thread and onto the forum that was under your nose all the time; on a forum the first page is always one click away from any thread.
