is it possible to block certain numbers on an iphone 4s, being pestered by someone that has gained my number and cant stop them ringing me.

Not on a standard iphone. If yours is jailbroken there's an app (around a tenner) called iBlacklist should do what you want. Alternately, you can add a silent ringtone to your iphone and assign it to this person (assuming they always use the same number to call and don't withhold it). The phone will still ring, you just won't hear it!How do I add a signature?0

+1 for iBlacklist. I performed a jailbreak on my iPhone 4 specifically for this app so I could block those PPI reclaim calls and similar cold callers. You can set it to answer and hang up, go straight to voicemail or even give the caller a busy tone. Even better it works for SMS too.0 -
