Light Bulb 100w+ (or equivalent)

I am looking for some light bulbs to fit the small bulkhead lights that have been fitted by the builder to the new stables.
I was hoping to get some decent energy saving bulbs but they all appear too long.
The fitting will take a 60W ES GLS and I really don't think that is going to be bright enough. I reckon the maximum length of bulb will be 100mm.
Any ideas?

Are the light fittings rated for 100W GLS bulbs? I doubt you will find any CFL bulbs that produce the same light output as a 100w GLS bulb les than 100mm in length. Are these 60W ES GLS bulgs the candle type?"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0
