Hi,
I've got a windows 7 Samsung s3511 Laptop.
The problem I have is it won't de-frag, I click analyse, it flickers slightly, does nothing, if I click de-frag, it flickers and does nothing.
My system isn't running slow but it annoys me that I can't even analyse the system to see if it may need to be de-fragmented.
Is this something that I may be able to fix? I've tried error checks with a reboot but that hasn't helped and I've tried 3rd party de-frag's and get the same thing with them.
Any help would be appreciated.

go into file manger and look in C:\Windows\System32 right click on cmd.exe and select Run as administrator
A black dos windows should open. You are probably already in the correct locaion but if not, in the window type cd C:\Windows\System32 and press return
now to run the gui in the box type dfrgui.exe Note that it takes about a minute to start.
Or to run the dos version type defrag /u /v0 -
Try this
http://www.piriform.com/defraggler
It is what I use and comes from the same company that makes ccleaner.0
