Overdraft to Credit Card

My son has an overdraft of approx £3000 on his Bank current account and would like to transfer this to a interest free credit card. He contacted Capital 1 who said he couldn't transfer from current a/c to credit card. But I did do this a couple of years ago with Egg (I think). does anyone know if you can still do this and which is the best to go for?
Thanks..
Thanks..

Hello Mavis and welcome to the Board.
Yes, egg is still the best way of routing 0% cash into a bank account (MBNA and Mint having blotted their copy book by imposing a fee for transferring in this way).
Don't mean to be rude but a brief perusal of posts over the last few days would have found this fact referred to on countless occasions.Ethical moneysaver0 -
Eggs the man for SBT's
A number of others, though they charge a 2% fee i.e. MBNA, Virgin etc.0
