Wow, pricey present - hope your son appreciates you, I'm looking to buy myself a new tv around the same time and I'm keeping my eye on the Samsung ES6300, currently £666 at amazon but I recone it'll be below £500 maybe getting closer to £400 around xmas or start of 2013
What's your budget?0 -
You want to make sure you don't actually buy it until Christmas though -- six months is a long time in the TV (and computer!) world. What is £800 now will probably by £500 then.
I have a Sony Bravia 42" LED and am happy with it, but I am not really a TV buff.0 -
Slightly bigger.

I brought a 26" LG LED TV from them and am more than happy with the TV and also their service. It is used in a spare room for general TV and gaming.
I looked at loads before buying including, Sharp, Samsung and Panasonic and the main highs street offerings.
