Off on my hols in that area next month so looking at things what to do, any advice. We got a cottage near Sandringham estate. Never been to Norfolk just wanted a change and get away.

There are 4 of us all adults, one is oap and other daughter is disabled and looking at hiring a wheelchair from red cross if possible, she can walk but on crutches.

Like history and a bit of fun too, but on a budget. We can travel by car but dont want to travel much more than 30 miles accept we might go to Cambridge for day. Also fancy seeing The wash

Thanks

You are right near Hunstanton. A lovely little seaside town.
    Back on the trains again!

Sandringham is good around the gardens and church good picnic area. Nice grounds to walk around you have to pay to go in to the gardens and house.

    Hunstanton typical seaside town.
Buy an OS map of the area.
Brancaster quay always lots of boats around.
Further down the coast Blakeny dont get caught by the tide in the car park
Wells is a small harbour village.
Holt is an up market town good for a visit
    Sheringham steam railway to Holt

Oooh! I love Norfolk - have been nearly every year for 37 years!!
I'm no great at distances so may be outside 30 mile radius, but is always so much nicer to drive there!
Walsingham - shrine etc but lovely wee quiet village, good coffee shop, but make sure to take disabled badge as car park may be bit far for you
Sherringham - big wide pavements, lovely shops, good food. MArket on Saturdays
Cromer - love it! Totally seaside!
Blickling Hall - ghost of Anne Boleyn
    Felbrigg Hall
Sandringham (not sure of openings in summer, but sometimes there are open air concerts at these 3 properties)
Norwich is great, the cathedral is lovely and some fantastic guides
    and beside Hunstanton too.

    Have great fun!!
