I'm considering purchasing solar panel installation at a cost of £6000.
If i pay by credit card, they charge an extra 2%.
If I use Tesco credit card, i get clubcard points. Is this worth doing ?
please advise....
Thank you,

6000k on a clubcard would get you 1500 points as its 1 point for every £4 spent
so that would be £15 or if you convert to rewards vouchers then it will be £45
i often think the fee outweights the benefits of the points so i rarely make any big purchases on my card if theres a big booking fee etc if i can avoid it0 -
... and unless you'll be paying off IN FULL the extra benefits will be swallowed up.Oh, you wee bazza!0

2% of 6000 is £120 so it is very unlikely you would get the money back in deals.
Even if you have the older card where you get £1 for every £2 you spend this is only £30 in cc points, which converts to £90 in deals.
Of course, if you are paying by card anyway, and you don't have a decent cashback card, then it is better than nothing. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
