Credit limit increased, is that good credit score?

Options
I have just got a letter saying my credit limit will be increased. Does that mean my credit score is good or better? I recently applied for a credit card with another bank who gave me a transfer and a high limit reletively. Just wasnt sure why i got an increase from my old card.

Maybe say how long you had card and what company?

As some companies just periodically increase it as long as you keep all accounts in order

So its a periodic thing then. Just went on mbna site and thought to try and apply for er the fun of it! And approved immediately for £5500! How come that was instant, how odd.

Yeah i guess it's fine. You seem surprised you had a limit increase from an account set up in 1995 so i guess it was not periodic and rather a sign of a good report and keeping yourself on the right track.
